What is a skinbooster?

Skin boosters are a type of injectable skincare treatment designed to improve skin hydration, texture, and overall quality.

Unlike dermal fillers that primarily add volume to specific areas, skin boosters focus on delivering deep hydration throughout the skin.

They achieve this by injecting hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring substance that attracts and retains moisture.

Skin boosters aim to enhance the skin’s overall health and appearance, resulting in a more radiant, smooth, and supple complexion.

They can improve skin elasticity, reduce fine lines, and address concerns like dryness and dullness.

Injectable Treatment:

Skin boosters are administered through a series of small injections into the dermis, the middle layer of the skin.

This allows the hydrating ingredients to work from within, providing longer-lasting results compared to topical skincare products.

Differentiation from Dermal Fillers:

It’s important to distinguish skin boosters from dermal fillers. While both involve hyaluronic acid, their purpose is different.

Dermal fillers are used to add volume, contour the face, and fill in deeper wrinkles. Skin boosters focus on overall skin hydration and quality.

Ingredients

While hyaluronic acid is the primary ingredient, some skin boosters may also contain other beneficial substances like:

Amino acids

Vitamins

Polynucleotides.

Peptides.

In essence Skin boosters are designed to hydrate the skin from the inside out, improving its overall texture and appearance. They offer a subtle, natural-looking enhancement, focusing on skin quality rather than volume.

What are Polynucleotide injections?

Polynucleotides are chains of nucleotides, the building blocks of DNA and RNA. In aesthetic treatments, they are often derived from purified fish DNA (typically salmon).

They work by stimulating the skin’s natural repair processes at a cellular level

PNs promote fibroblast activity, which increases collagen and elastin production. This leads to improved skin elasticity, firmness, and texture. They also have biostimulatory effects, aiding in tissue repair and regeneration. Additionally, they possess anti-inflammatory and wound-healing properties.

Key benefits:

  • Stimulates collagen and elastin production.
  • Promotes cellular repair and regeneration.
  • Improves skin elasticity and firmness.
  • Reduces inflammation and redness.
  • Can help with scar reduction.

Results

  • Results develop gradually over time, as the skin undergoes cellular regeneration.
  • Focuses on improving the skins overall health, and structure
  • They tend to offer longer-lasting results compared to HA skin boosters.
